Question : How much does it cost to do a cross country move using professional movers?
I am debating on whether to get movers or whether to sell most of my stuff and mail the rest in boxes. Another option would be to take more stuff on the plane. Can you pay extra to check in more than 2 bags?

We moved a 3 bedroom house worth of furniture (1600 sq feet) from CO to KY and it cost $ 4500 with packing and packing supplies. It goes by either weight or cubic feet depending on which method the shipper uses.
