Question : Classical Singing competitions on the US east coast?
My wife’s a University graduate in Classical Italian opera and stage performance. Since she had our son she hasn’t been able to compete here in China. We’ll be moving back the US in a few months and I want to find a website that lists upcoming competitions on the east coast so she’s ot something there similiar to back home. The new york/new jersey area would be best. Anything would be very appreciated.

In New York they have the Center for Contemporary Opera. They don’t have any competitions in 2007 but you might want to try to reach them maybe they can point you in the right direction for your wife. You can reach them at
