What is Costco return policy on laptops?

This applies to all computers, televisions, ipods, and camcorders:
You have 90 days to return it, no questions asked, full refund.

After 90 days, you have 2 years of concierge service coverage. If ANYTHING breaks, you may call concierge and they will do any repairs/replacements necessary to get it back to 100%. These arrangements are done via telephone, not in store or in person, (though you can obtain the number at customer service if you lose your receipt).

If you pay for the purchase with American Express, this 2 year coverage will automatically be extended to 3 years.

As far as quality, Costco Concierge offers outstanding tech support. When I locked myself out pf my laptop, they were willing to send me an operating system boot disk free of charge with express delivery, and dealt with Gateway directly to find the quickest easiest fix to my problem. It took no time at all. If the laptop is ever beyond repair, they will even replace it for you. HOWEVER, once your 2 or 3 year window is up, (which is plenty of time considering how quickly laptops evolve), you are on your own. Most companies allow you to purchase a warranty from the manufacturer directly, but Costco itself doesn’t offer anything after the warranty expires.
