Question : What should we rename New York when the white resident population approaches ZERO in another 10-12 years?
A receding white protestant population has occurred on a massive scale, dating from the date of ENFORCED so-called integration of the schools, co-incident with the election of Giuliani as Mayor, in early 60′s. When they pulled their darlings out of the comtaminated schools is not precisely known, but January 1 of that year is a likely guess. I was working in businesses that pulled out of the city and moved to Connecticut. And in other companies, only the top executives moved out, muttering about Blacks and Jews. It seemed at the time, and still seems to most persons, only a matter of individual taste. But take a look—–it is the inevitable destruction of a city.
From 1176 to the date of the Supreme Court decision making illegal the separation of the races, schools were NEVER integrated on a racially equal basis. Certainly one can go back another 2 centuries or so, finding the same thing. Certainly this is a societal CHOICE, that required ARMED FORCE on the part of the federal govt. to “overcome.” What would one call this armed take-over, in retrospect?

Well the fact is that many whites did not want black children attending schools with their children. The black population at that time and still to some degree is very poor. So they live in the inner cities. This would mean that in inner city schools you would have a majority of black students and a minority of white ones. The opposite works if you look at the suburbs. So in order to keep a racially diverse group to that of the population of the area they were forced to bus children in from other areas thus forcing diversity. Now, most well off parents both black and white send their children to private schools. This has caused a real issue with taking good and rather intelligent children out of the public school system altogether. Thus you are left with a majority of students that are poor and can not afford to go to a private school. You are also left with the students that have behavior issues and issues with authority. So that means that children who are smart and very able to learn are not getting a good education. This is due to the fact that teachers now have to spend a good part of their time dealing with problem students, and not teaching. So children in public schools will more than likely receive a less than good education. There are not as many smart well behaved children in public schools as there where when I was in elementary and middle school some 16 to 18 years ago. The issue is not the destruction of a city but the destruction of our children and the quality of education they are now able to receive in public schools. What I call the dumbing down of America. This is in many degrees not the fault of blacks or whites. This is the fault of parents no longer taking time, and interest in their child’s education. We have to find a way to remove the bad problem students in order that we can educate the ones who are there and able to learn. Note I said able, while every child can learn, not every child can learn at the level of the majority. The ones that can not or will not, then take valuable teaching time away from the ones that can and do want to learn. Teachers are now so worried about teaching to types of tests that the school and their performance is based on that the children, even the smart and or good ones, do not get a good education. They just simply are taught in the way of the test and how to answer types of questions. That is not an education. This is the destruction of America from within our own foolish government.

Let us, however, assume that every white person moved to New Jersey or Vermont. Are the new inhabitants required to change the name? Were you planning on taking that with you?]
New York has been New York exactly because of the cosmopolitan effect of the new arrivals and their competing cultures. Get over it. Long live New York, and great New Yorkers like George Gershwin and Edward Kennedy Ellington.
