Question : Where to stop and what to do, going from Miami to Fort Lauderdale and Deerfield Beach.?
Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Deerfield beach are 3 places i must see! I’ve found 2 great shopping malls (sawgrass & dolphin mall) that i just have to go to! And ive found a tour that takes you to see all big homes in miami.
Tips on more stuff to see and do or maybe even places to stop on the way to Deerfield beach.

Miami to Deerfield Beach takes only about 1-1 half hour in normal rush hour traffic using I-95. l drive it often.
My picks; The Hard Rock complex at the Turnpike & Griffin Road in Hollywood. Casino + shopping + drinking + eating.
Pro Bass Shop at I-95 & Sterling road, l love that place.
The beach at A1A & Las Olas Blvd. Also consider a stroll down Las Olas.
This is the heart of the Ft Lauderdale tourist district.
Gumbo Limbo Nature Center. Just a bit north of Deerfield Beach on A1A just south of Spanish River Blvd.
In Deerfield, the pier at Hillsbourgh Blvd & the beach.
Have a good trip.
I agree with the other answerer, but I´d add some more:
take the water taxi in Ft lauderdale and look at the beautiful homes tehre too! There´s a reason why it´s called “the Venice of America” (www.watertaxi.com)
About the malls… if you can, visit the Boca Town Center too, I like it better than the Dolphin becasue usually it´s less crowded with tourists. And on the same street as the Boca Mall, Glades, about 5 minutes after passing the Turnpike on your left side you´ll find a fab Loehman´s too if you´re interested. In the same plaza they have TJMaxx and Marshall´s too.
And at the Sawgrass Mills ask for a coupon book if you´re out of State for some discounts (at the info desk, you´ll have to show your drivers license).
Have fun!
