Question : Why is it so hard to find a decent job?
I know this question has been asked many times and so Ima ask again. I have two degrees and just moved to Tampa, FL.. Does anyone have any solutions on how to get a foot in the door with a decent paying company round here? My degrees are in Broadcast Production, ( Video Editing ) and my AA is in Communications, I also have a double minor in Early Childhood and Marketing. And yet im not making 40 thousand yet.. I graduated last 06′.. What do I gotta do aside from being presistent?

GET REFERENCES TOGETHER, speak to an employment agency/head hunter. they will help you find a job in your area and vouch for you as a good canidate, i used one and got a job within 2 weeks.

First do not beat yourself to hard you just moved in to Tampa Fl.
Takes things step by step. but do not take your time as well.
Cause it is very important to work to get what you want cause nothing is for free in life and you have to fight for what you want.
So Boo what I would tell is do not give up. if some agency turns you down in which I think that they will not since you have two degrees on your back boo you just keep moving forward.
Just pull yourself together put your resume together and head out to this world with a positive vibe.
You will a Job and you will also find the hunny that you are looking for too.
I think that life is trying to make it harder for you but you will be just fine trust me.

Here is some tough news
1 – Tampa is a tough market to make real money in – lots of job seekers
2 – Your degrees are not ones that would give you immediate hard skills an employer would want
You don’t say what you want to do for a living – Broadcasting? Early Childhood? Marketing?
I would say whatever it is (Say Broadcasting) you would want to start to network – Join a professional association, call radio/TV stations and do unpaid internships etc.
