What materials can i use to build a scale model of a commercial building?
Question : What materials can i use to build a scale model of a commercial building?
I need to build a 2 story model building corner of a dorm (to scale of course, probably big enough to see detail). What can i use to make/build the model ( have to make steel trusses, foundation, section of wall construction, floors, girders etc.)

Thin cardboard or thick poster board.
Go talk to your local architect. They always are building scale models for presentations. They will have all sorts of sources for the stuff they use and might give you some. You might be able to take one of their models apart for parts.
