This plan book is a companion piece to our popular idea book, “Carolina Inspirations.” Encompassing work that we have done over the past decade, this collection of plans focuses on residential projects throughout the Carolinas and the southeast.

We believe houses should be designed to fit in with the historical fabric of a place. For instance, the front walk should lead to a front door instead of a 20-foot wide driveway that leads to a garage fronting the street. By completely separating the mass of the garage from the house, we are able to design attractive homes that have appropriate proportions and a simple elegance.

What follows is a group of secondary structures that offers something for anyone considering the addition of an outbuilding – from small to large; with guest rooms, workshops, offices, or storage rooms; an open carport or garden pavilion for the budget-minded. In addition a few small storage sheds have been included as well as several of our popular small guest houses.
