I am moving across country doe’s any one know cheap moving company ?
Question : I am moving across country doe’s any one know cheap moving company ?
Is it cheaper to rent a u-haul trailor and move my self or are there some cheap companys which are semi reliable.? From what I have priced on internet by the time I rent u-haul and buy shipping supplies it is almost as much as one company that will ship for me.Thanks for any help.

You are looking at spending a lot of money either way. Whether you choose to rent a truck or hire a moving company is going to cost you quite a bit of money.
What many people do when moving long distances is to sell the stuff they have, and then buy new ones after you get to your destination. My nephew moved from California to Hawaii. Instead of paying for his items to be shipped to his new home, he sold all his main stuff, and used that money to buy new stuff in his new area. You might consider selling your big stuff like furniture and buy newer stuff once you get into your new home.
I moved from Cali to North Carolina.., and then back one year later.
I went through my AAA and used Ryder.., I got a big Ryder truck and a trailer behind it to tow my car. I don’t know where you’ve checked, but I saved thousands over having someone do it for me.
My sister moved back to Cali from Virgina. They found a company that brought a truck, then they loaded it, and the company came and picked it up and then devlievered it, then they unloaded it. It was a little more than a u-haul, but worth it to them to just be able to drive a rental car and not worry about the big-rig driving.
But either way.. A LOT cheaper than paying a pro company to move your rear all the way across the country. Good luck!
