Diesel willing to accept a greater role in meeting new requirements of environmental and energy efficiency play the green economy, the report says Hart New Energy
Washington, DC (Vocus) 13 to move in October 2010
With the United States to implement higher standards of environmental economics and fuel and extend the use of renewable energy sources, clean diesel fuel â? ready to play a greater role in the transport market ????, USA according to a report recently published HART Energy Consulting.
Diesel
??? Fueling the future of green Economia? today by the Diesel Technology Forum in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Energya? the Winter 2010-2011 Fuels Outlook Conference in the National Press Club. (For the full report is available on the DTF.)
â? Although it was not proven much speculation about the role of energy technologies in the emerging green economy, this new analysis clearly shows that clean diesel is a crucial role in the green economy play now and in future generations of energy and transportation costs, â? said Allen Schaeffer, director of the Diesel Technology Forum.
market growth has international diesel
been
â? The growth in the diesel market has been taking place all over the world. Although not all areas of a high penetration of diesel in the passenger car market have seen the growth in diesel demand for gasoline and other refined products in most developing countries has exceeded, including China. Diesel is the mainstay of the economy in the world. As the global economy have increased, as demand for commercial transport diesel and industrial activities, â? Hart says the report (p. 7)
Diesel
in the spectrum of clean energy
Although there are many speculations on the conversion of energy sources such as electric vehicles and natural gas, the report says diesel? s role as a source of energy today and tomorrow.
â? A search for security has resulted in reliable energy supply policy makers and industry to the use of new fuels such as electricity and fuels from renewable sources to explore. Because diesel fuel? S single a number of attributes? its energy density, low-sulfur, high availability and compatibility with biofuels, it is easy to see diesel? Emergence as a leading fuel of the future, â? Hart says the report (p. 5).
â? Diesel energy security and improving the environment without the need for the development of an infrastructure to support technology. Diesel? S improved using unique ability to provide a range of fuels from renewable sources and mixes his chance under new requirements.â renewable fuel? (P.27)
Fuel Economy
New initiatives and climate policy increases the demand for diesel
The report shows that diesel was hard, the fastest growing petroleum products, representing 20 percent of the demand for refined products, which at an annual rate of 2.8 percent for the last five years. Hart said U.S. diesel demand expected to increase by 1.7 to 2.0 percent per year over the next ten years, largely by the transport sector and heavy oil industry and its climate policy initiatives that increase the use of diesel in cars (p. 27) .
Beyond that, the diesel industry to reduce the current implementation of advanced engine and emissions technology, emissions from vehicles and off-road machinery and equipment is compared to over 98 per cent to 2000-era technology, the report said. With superior fuel economy of up to 35 percent more gasoline, diesel offers a strong option for meeting requirements while maintaining the performance and power (p.27).
Increased refinery production
diesel, diesel stations increase the availability
In addition
Hart reported that the refinery has made adjustments to meet and plans for additional investment to rising global demand and the U.S. for diesel fuel. For example, two of the largest development projects in the history of the refineries in the United States to take the capacity, performance diesel (p.28) to maximize.
The report also shows another indicator of the current and future increased sales of diesel fuel – the amount of gas stations with diesel fuel rose 35.4 percent in 1997 to 52.1 percent in 2007 (p.25)
Car sales of diesel fuelbe significantly
Increase
The report also predicts
sales hard cleaning automotive diesel to the U.S. rose by only 2 percent in 2009 to 8.5 percent in 2020. The report notes that other independent projections of domestic sales of diesel cars rose by 9 percent in 2013 (Ricardo), by 10-15 percent by 2015 (JD Power) (p.12-13 forecast).
â? Fuel consumption is the most important factor in the future role of diesel in the light of the United States and sells medium-duty vehicles, a? Where? the report said. â? Depending on vehicle size and load, diesel engines typically run at 20% to 35% better than gasoline cars of similar size and performance.â? (P.12)
â? The growth in sales of diesel passenger cars outlook for the United States in other parts of the world, one taken? said VLLW? s Allen Schaeffer. â? The report notes that Hart rose to the European market for the sale of diesel cars by 32.1 percent in 2000 to an incredible 53.3 percent in 2007. The issuance of new standards and high mileage charged by the federal government will increase the importance of diesel vehicles to America drivers.â p> ????
