Question : computer turned off by itself while playing games?
my pc turned off by itself in the middle of the game. It only happens when i play something heavy (the sims3, Left 4 dead, Total War) but it works fine when im playing age of empires, rise of nation etc. im suspecting the power supply is the main problem, but im not sure. my pc is Dell studio xps, and if u guys need specs about it, here it goes …

It might be your computer overheating, I had a similar sounding problem where my computer would run Diablo 2 and Warcraft III fine, but when I tried to play World of Warcraft my computer would just shut down.

its probably your cpu fan the computer will turn off if the cpu fan is not cooling the cpu enough. its to avoid damaging your cpu when it gets to hot. so check that your cpu fan is working properly and if you have water cooling then make sure your water is circulating properly and the water tank is full.
