Question : Bitten by dog in other state…which state to hire attorney?
My boyfriend was bitten in the face by a friend’s dog in another state, resulting in emergency plastic surgery and permanent scarring to his mouth area, and wants to hire an attorney to deal with a settlement offer from the other person’s homeowner’s insurance. Can he hire a personal injury attorney where we live (in Arizona), or is it better to find a remote attorney in the state where the bite occurred, as they will likely be more familiar with dog bite laws there? (Washington state)?

you should speak with lawyers in both states. i think that for obvious reasons, it would be better to have a lawyer in washington.
