Question : How much should I expect to pay for car insurance?
I’m a 17 year old female that will drive a Vauxhall Corsa but it’s kind of old like this one: http://www.ajb-enterprise.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2007/09/vauxhall-corsa-club-2001.jpg

Does the amount of lessons/make of car/pass score change the price of insurance? All the insurance sites want me to enter my details, which I don’t want to do.

Is there a big difference between cost when I’m 17 compared with 18?

Sorry for all the questions but thanks (:
By the way I’m in the UK.
Can I just add that I don’t want to add my details because I haven’t learn to drive yet, don’t have a car, don’t know what make of car I will eventually have or anything. Not because I’m being stupid.

First, you have to be willing to answer their questions if you want to get insured. Period. Driver’s Ed classes will reduce your cost, but the score you passed with won’t. The make of the car will definitely make a difference in the premium you will pay. For example, a small fast sports car will usually cost you more than say a pickup truck because the truck would be safer. You will usually pay more for a V-8 than you will for a 4 cylinder engine. The costs between 17 and 18 will not be any different, usually. Depends on your driving record. You don’t get a signinficant drop in insurance premiums until you reach 25.
