How do you feel about the Hershey Company moving to Mexico?

Question : How do you feel about the Hershey Company moving to Mexico?
It was just recently announced that the Hershey’s candy company is closing in Hershey, PA and moving to Mexico! All those people are losing their jobs. How do you feel about this? Personally I’m outraged and will not buy Hershey products anymore. You can’t get anymore unamerican than that.

Recently? This was announced over a year ago.

Instead of making chocolate easter bunnies, they will make chocolate illegal aliens. NAFTA strikes again.

In the long run, this will help consumers. Not to mention the jobs it will create in Mexico, which should help Mexicans stay in Mexico.

for what it’s worth maybe then some illegals would follow and we wouldn’t have so many here..I spend a lot of time in mexico and I think there will be a change in the taste ,mexico chocolate isn’t that tasty.

About 15 years ago. Hershey was sold to some bigger company. Right away the quality of the chocolate dropped. They used FAKE vanilla and added malt. Changing the Hershey that, America had known for decades.
Now they are moving to Mexico? I imagine that will make for ANOTHER change in the product… because it’s so hot there.
I feel awful Hershey ever changed. It was a part of AMERICANA and it sold it’s self out.
Every year at holiday time I used to make a peanut butter cookie with a Hershey kiss on top. The chocolate got so CRAPPY I stopped that YEARS ago… it’s a DAMN SHAME!
