Try to book a full package of room, tickets, and rentals through the area. They should have a web site that will give much of that information. Budget about 5 times what a daily lift ticket will cost and then guess about your food budget. If the estimate is high, save the rest of the money. That is peak season and snow is always questionable that time of year. Add in a set of lessons for every day of your stay, this should give you someone to ski with and you will meet some new people. Book early and negotiate. Group rates for 20 or more might be available.

Is the official website, but I would suggest looking at VRBO.com (Vacation Rental By Owner) for a vacation home for the week, they are much nicer for families or groups because you have a house with a kitchen, but may be 10-15 min away from town. $ 200/night might be hard to find during Christmas Break week, but you didn’t say how big of a place you need. Also look in Frisco or Silverthorne, CO because they are 20 min away but have lower priced accomodations. Breck has a good bus system so you can get around pretty easily for free in town, trips outside Breck will cost. Rentals will run $ 25-35/day for skis and $ 30-40/day for snowboards, basic package includes board/skis, boots & bindings maybe helmet (get the helmet- they are comfy, warm and keep you from eating tomato soup for the rest of your life). I’d say rent on the mountain because you don’t have to haul your stuff back and forth, and if you have a problem you can get it fixed at any of the Breck rental shops (on all 3 mtn base areas Peak 7,8,&9, Peak 10 doesn’t have a base rental area), you may save a few dollars renting in town but if you have an issue you will spend an hour getting off the hill, back over to the shop, get it fixed or resized etc, then get back on the mtn etc.
