why not just use uhaul they are fairly cheap and the prices are as is
go to http://www.losangelesmover.org. They have a lot of info about all kinds of moving companies. You can submit a quote there and they will give you a flat rate or an hourly rate … whatever you like.
Even if you end up going with someone else, read their articles about choosing a pro mover and how to avoid moving scams. Some of the stories on that website are really scary. So be careful.
