Question : Is there any home insurance that covers a new home while knob and tube is being replaced?
We are willing to have the electrics updated within the first few weeks of ownership.

All home owners insurance should cover knob and tube wiring if it was installed correctly. I’ve never heard of any that wouldn’t. I’ve replaced lots of knob and tube with romex or conduit. I have heard of insurance companies having a problem with aluminum branch circuits.
