I was horrified when our contractor installed this (and the tub spout) and I realized the top and bottom pieces of the slide bar, and the slider, and the entire tub spout were PLASTIC (in the oil-rubbed bronze finish – I don’t know if the same is true of the other finishes). Not only that, but a single screw mounts each end of the bar and ours was very wobbly. I couldn’t live with it and we’ve replaced it with Moen (all metal).
