Like, lets say you plan on having a new car, eventually buying a house, eventually having 2 or more kids, vehicle and health insurance, is there something out there on the net that calculates how much you’ll need to make to have those kinds of things?

There is so much variance in your question it’s impossible to answer. It depends on where you live, since the cost of living in California is so much higher than say, some parts of the midwest. Also depends on what kind of car/house you want to live in – the nicer/bigger it is the more expensive. Insurance costs also vary depending on your driving record and health.
I’d be very surprised if someone came up with some kind of calculator for this online, but with a little research I bet you could figure it out for yourself.
