What is a fair trade for F. Gore?
Question : What is a fair trade for F. Gore?
Ive been thinking about trading Frank Gore while hes hot. Hes not a proven back yet so i think he might slow down and thought maybe I can pull off a good trade. I was thinking about some one like Tiki Barber or Rudi Johnson. Heres my team, what do you think a fair trade would be?
Starters:
QB – M. Bulger
WR – A. Boldin
WR – P. Burress
WR – D. Mason
RB – L. Johnson
RB – F. Gore
TE – A. Gates
K – J. Wilkins
DEF – Atlanta
Bench:
RB’s – K.Jones & A. Green
WR’s – Ke. Johnson, E. Moulds
TE – J. Wiggins
QB – J. Delhomme

I duno if it would be a good idea to trade him… He is the feature back in SF with nobody challenging him for the #1 spot. The only thing that would decrease his value would be an injury.

Are you nuts??? You have LJ AND Gore? If you must make a trade, try to offer Gore straight up for Rudi, or else you’d be crazy to trade Gore. Even though it’s only been 2 games, Gore has shown that he can be a feature back b/c of his numbers. He’s running in a Norv Turner offense who loves running the ball – just compare Lamont Jordan last year and this year. Trust me, Norv Turner will make Gore into at least a 1500 yard, 12 TD back. When all’s said and done, Gore will be a top 5 back.

I don’t think you will be able to get Barber or Johnson, but it’s worth a shot. If I were you I would take a long look at Chester Taylor. He is coming out much like Gore, but is getting the ball a lot more. Look at the Vikings schedule during fantasy playoff time, Jets, Packers, Rams. With that schedule he could help you win the championship. If you don’t like that idea try to package Gore with Bulger and look for a high scoring QB, like McNabb.
