Question : What are the dimensions for an A/C slab in Texas?
We are having our a/c replaced, yes in the middle of August. The A/C company (whom we are using through a home warranty) is trying to nickel and dime us to death for things not covered under warranty, like anything that has to be brought up to code. One of those things is the slab, we currently don’t have one.

We’d like to save money by doing it ourselves but need the dimensions. Any know where we can find the information?

They come in sizes such as 24X36, 30X30, & 36X36 (inches),….. They are foam core coated with a layer of concrete for weight savings & vibration isolation. Cost: from 75$ to around 125$ . There are also plastic condenser pads that cost alot less and will still meet code requirements, but need to have a good, level rock base & good drainage.
