From the supplier: New York insurers will launch the Coastal Market Assistance Program (C-MAP) on Mar 18, 1996. The industry-initiated, state-overseen program will provide state residents living in coastal areas much-needed opportunities to purchase insurance. The 27 participating insurers will take turns reviewing applications, using standard underwriting guidelines. Each is required to approve one of every four applications.
