Between $ 1000-1400 is going to be a hard range to match for good housing on Oahu. Especially anything close to Honolulu. However, you may find a small apartment for that price…but definitely not inside Honolulu. Your best bet is to search for several real estate agents on the island and call ahead. They’ll send you information and current listings in the mail before you arrive. Be sure to mention your price range and area of preference.
