shingles coming off?
Question : shingles coming off?
our house was built 2007 and our shingles are coming off already called the builder last year we never got a return call total 15 messsages and finally got someone on the phone the other day to explain the problem the builder called me back and said we need to call our insurance company but i told him our house is still under warranty and i did’nt think shingles should be comng off so soon since it wasnt even a year old yet so he said he would fix it , will we have damage since they have been missing for so long?

Your roof will still be water tight for awhile, there is tar paper under the shingles.
Personally I would call the city planners and scream bloody murder, they inspected and passed that roof. Someones head would roll.
The roof is covered under your warranty, but you need to get moving and get it claimed.
Talk to your neighbors. I smell Class Action Suit.

You need to call them all day, every day.
The builder should warrent the shingle labor for about 10 years minimum.
That SHOULD NOT be happening.
Easy way to fix it: Get a roofing contractor to come give you an estimate on what’s wrong with it, what it will cost to fix it, and sue him.
I bet he’ll return your call then.
