Can i take my jailbroken ipod touch to an Apple Representative?
Question : Can i take my jailbroken ipod touch to an Apple Representative?
Okay, well i’ve had my ipod for a long time now it worked fine, until i took it to mexico with me and the day before i made the long trip back to houston,tx it didnt want turn on or charge, so now today i connected to the usb port and to the computer with different cables and different computers and it didnt want to turn on. Then i tried pressing the home button and on/off button for a while to restore it while connected to the computer and it didnt show any sign of life. Finally i decided to go to apple and put my serial number to find out what kind of help i am eligible for and i have the telephone techinal support expired, Repairs and Service Coverage: Active,Limited Warranty(Estimated Expiration Date* August 09,2010)Eligible for the AppleCare Protection Plan.
I basilly have no clue what to do, if i take it to an Apple Representative and they make it turn on they will know it’s jailbroken, and can they take me to jail or something? i’m afraid of what will happen?
And also Should i extend the AppleCare protection plan? what exactly is that or what does it cover or help me with?
I tried looking for help in craiglist but the problem is i don’t know exactly what’s wrong with my ipod and i don’t trust non professional people. Please help any answers or suggestions will help!

LMFAO! No u wont go to jail but the Apple representative wont help u, just restore your ipod and if that dosent fix it then take it in. But only if u restored it first
Well, if you give a jailbroken ipod to Apple, then your warranty is no longer good.
It’s a hard problem.
Try googling ways to get your ipod started
If it turns on, restore it and take it to Apple
