French Quarter has always been considered one of the top attractions of New Orleans by the mixture of cultural influences, architecture, history, music is to be distinguished, and the celebration that defines the city. Recently I was in New Orleans and had become an incredible experience ever in the neighborhood.

I went into the trip without knowing a thing about New Orleans history and culture, and left as a “French Quarter Tour Guide” self proclaimed. I decided to start this blog as a way of my thoughts on the town or down my best to get new visitors guide. I always try to keep in mind the affordability, especially during economic times like these. So, viola, my guide for a day in the life of a French Quarter tourism.

1 Find Your property: with accessibility in mind, I booked my hotel in New Orleans by a nifty website called Holiday Offer.com . Holiday offers you can find holiday deals at low prices through partner stations, on the basis of the understanding that you take a walk 90 minutes to work part time while you’re there. The short tour was informative and harmless, and well worth the great price I live in beautiful luxury condos French Orleans. French was at 519 St. Francis, near the best cuisine, music and nightlife.

2 in some history at Jackson Square Take: After the easy installation, your home, I suggest you go on your feet and discover some of the history that offer French Quarter added. Jackson Square, a beautifully maintained park open air in the heart of the French Quarter is a great place to start. Here you can the history of the 18th Architecture Century by visiting the St. Louis Cathedral, denotes a small basilica by Pope Paul VI explore. Beside the Cathedral, you should also Cabildo Museum, the mayor of the city in the 18th Century served.
If you tire of the old, sacred sites, a break and relax with a latte at Cafe du Monde beliefs about the place. Here you can sit back, relax and listen to live music by street performers.

3 Lunch anyone? : after all that hungry story? Head of the Alpine Bistro on Chartres Street, one block from Jackson Square, adjacent to the Canal St At an affordable price, has to offer you one of the most romantic restaurants in New Orleans. “The court will set you back in the old days, when the authors of the literature we admire today written” Make sure all the Cajun and Creole favorites (I recommend the Crabcakes with crayfish sauce!)

4 a quiet walk: If you are on the Rue de Chartres, I propose a walk to the historic architecture of the street where you may enjoy the largest concentration of the city preserved buildings are colonial-era and early 19th Century city. Houses. Their peaceful walk will take you scattered by some shops and cafes along the street. Take time to stop and talk to people, often relaxing in front of these facilities.

br 5 Dinner and Beyond. You can first return to Orléans French and a nap before returning to the city I suggest spending the evening at the famous Bourboun participate. great food and wonderful nightlife word of caution. Bourbon St. is known, is known for catering to tourists, like any symbol of the city known Beware of some institutions that deal specifically with bright colors and have the tendency of price measurement unsuspecting visitors to the dinner .. I recommend Ember Borboun House and Restaurant, a restaurant filled with food such as lobster tails, fried alligator, jambalaya, catfish, shrimp, red beans and rice, etouffee and crawfish. Make sure you try to get seats on the balcony overlooking Bourbon Street nightlife.
For the last part of your evening, I propose for a drink at Lafitte’s Blacksmith Shop The candlelit bar you take a journey through time to a simpler time, stop. The hotel was built around 1761, and supposedly once owned by the pirate Jean Lafitte

6 sleep .. you will probably be a little tired at the end of this whirlwind tour, to be sure to “Z”. Relax, you sleep in your bed filled with French and to the sounds of New Orleans … and remember to prepare for another great day in the Big Easy!
