Michael Healy Door Knockers combine Old World craftsmanship with inspired original designs to create a truly unique decorative accessory for your home. Molten metal is heated to more than 2200 degrees F and then carefully poured into a handmade sand mold. The mold is used only once, giving each Door Knocker its individual character. After cooling, the raw metal casting is hand-chased and polished, then coated with a clear protective lacquer. Finally, the artist’s signature confirms each piece as a Michael Healy original.
