Plantation/ wooden Shutters for your home?
Question : Plantation/ wooden Shutters for your home?
I really like the look of plantation shutters. I plan to intall some for my kitchen / family room. I have a small balcony that the shutter guy says he can place sliding wooden shutters on too. It will look fab!
However, I was in for a sticker shock after he quoted me the price.
How much should I expect to pay for plantation wooden shutters on a balcony door, 2 large windows (70″ x 58″ inches), and 2 smaller windows (10″ x 58″ inches)?
Real wood, lifetime warranty, from a very well-reputable place in the united states that specializes in wooden shutters (not home depot or Lowes, or places like that).

What you’re asking for is, basically, “top of the line”. So I’d say the price tag is going to reflect that.
2 large windows around $ 1000 and 2 smaller windows around $ 600
They are typically priced by the sf and if you want real wood (which will eventually warp but looks beautiful) and a lifetime warranty on very high quality shutters I’d expect to pay around $ 1600 or so for the 4 windows plus installation.
