The National Crime Prevention Council (Civil Procedure) and the Bureau of Justice Assistance, U.S. Department of Justice has more than 175 communities in partnership with countries in an effort to one? Help? Take a bite out of the Crimea? during National Crime Prevention Month in October.

communities are part of the Celebrate Safe Communities, where police, schools, businesses and neighborhoods come together to organize crime prevention events and to mobilize people to organize, share tips for safety and awareness of public safety solutions to local crime problems .

beginning in October and throughout the year, hundreds of communities highlight solutions to local problems of crime in the community such as gang awareness, Internet safety, drug abuse, and intimidation. Day Safe Communities Initiative stresses the need for partnerships with law enforcement and the community to ensure the security efforts of communities that have resulted in lower crime rates in recent years to strengthen support.
