Question : I’m getting my permit in Alabama, but then I’m moving to Maryland right after?
Okay, I’m about to turn 15 and I live in Alabama. You can get your permit right when you hit your birthday if you want; and that’s what I’m planning on doing. But the problem is, is that I’m moving to Maryland after I turn 15 and get my permit here. And in Maryland, you have to be at least 15 and 9 months to get your permit. Would I be allowed to use my Alabama permit in Maryland or would I really have to wait nine months?

You will have to wait until you are eligible for a MD permit . Your Alabama permit is not valid in MD.
I agree with the other answer and that is the truth because whether it be a permit, drivers licence or just an id licence, once you move out of state you have a certain amount of time to change your id or permit in your case. Also, some states do not give out permits as such as my home state of New Hampshire where for example for which right next to Vermont. The state of Vermont does give permits, however if someone who lived in Vermont has a permit, then moved across the state line to NH, will no longer be able to use the permit. As far as I know NH still does not have permits and if you were to move there then you would have to attempt and get your drivers licence when you are old enough.
