My son’s ankle was cut on the end of a supermkt checkout counter when he tried to go around customers at a display the store setup right beside the exit. Bill was $ 400, insur co says he was jumping so they won’t aren’t liable for anything. Studied law, don’t care too much for lawyers.

~~My suggestion would be to file a small claims suit against the store. This way since you have a dispute with the store over responsibility, a judge can decide and you to not have to involve an attorney.~~
I’m surprised they won’t at least pay the medical bill, most companies have coverage for medical bills, no matter who is liable. But, if they don’t, and they’re denying liability. The only thing you can do is file a small claims suit unfortunately. They might go ahead and pay then, if you file, otherwise, you can have your day in court. If you go to court, pictures and witnesses will be your best support!
