Do I need to buy an additional program or something? or can I buy dvds and burn them using a program online?? Thanks.

For a basic movie, Windows XP comes with Windows Movie Maker. You should be able to find it in your Programs menu. From there you can open the different videos that you want to make into a movie.
The problem I see is that, I can’t tell from your setup that you actually have a DVD Burner. It may just not be specific enough. You will definately need that to finish the movie. If you do have it great! If not, you can still use the movie maker to create a windows movie file and then be able to burn it later, or take the file to a friends house to burn.

I have checked your computer hardware list, I think you have to buy a dvd burner drive at first, your computer only have a 16X DVDROM Drive which can’t used to burn writeable disc.
Burn video DVD, at fist you must have a dvd burner drive(have a text “Rw” on drive panel) on your computer, and have a DVD writeable disc, such as dvd-r, dvd+r, dvd-rw, dvd+rw, etc.
And If you want to burn any videos to DVD, and can play well on home DVD player, you should use the right software, I have used RZ DVD Creator, it can create/burn standard video DVD from any videos, it can directly convert and burn any videos to DVD(DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD-R DL, DVD+R DL, etc), such as avi to DVD, 3gp to DVD, mp4 to DVD, mov to DVD, mpg to DVD, etc. You can yahoo or google search and download “RZ DVD Creator”, work well, easy to use, good quality, most functionality.
