Will I have enough time to make my connecting flight?
Question : Will I have enough time to make my connecting flight?
My incoming flight from London arrives in Chicago at 6:35pm and my flight home departs at 8:05pm. Do I have enough time to make my connection flight, considering I’ll be going through customs and such?
I arrive at Terminal 5 and depart Terminal 2…

hopefully, that’s legal connection! If you have no checked bag…you should be OK, not much going on in customs that time of night. It is a wee bit close, for my opinion.

You’ll be cutting it close. If you just have carry on, you’ll be fine. If you do have checked baggage, you’re going to have to wait for your bags before you go thru customs. Most passengers will be doing this too. so there is your bottleneck. if you luck out and your bags come out of the carosel early you can hopefully avoid most the others.

Your schedule is pretty tight close, however if you are connecting flight, your next scheduled flight won’t leave until all passengers onboard your flight from LHR to your next destination are not onboard because it is already in their system. Regarding with your baggage, as i’ve said if you are connecting flight it will be transfered automatically to your next flight.
