Since you are buying it does not really matter if dogs were there before. You just need a bog yard and strong fence. But you can build the fence yourself, so even that is not a criteria.
Many home owners associations (“HOA’s”) in PSL have restrictions on the number of pets and weight of those pets. Before you sign the contract to purchase your home, tell your real estate agent you want to read the HOA’s Declaration, Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws, and Rules and Regulations (collectively, the “Governing Documents”). Whether there are restrictions on the number and/or size of pets must be in the Governing Documents of the HOA. Also, talk to the community’s manager and ask if you can have your dogs. The manager should be able to tell you, but still read the HOA’s Governing Documents.
