The trailer park only costs 280.00 a month and the trailer is in a range I can afford that is inexpensive. However.. although I will be saving 600.00 a month.. which can’t be beat and can go for other things.. My landlord does not know my mother lives here with me in the other room.. because he would have charged me 150.00 more he said a month.. for another person. Although couples would be okay. Anyway.. I chose not to tell him.. because of that reason.. and he never comes here. I have been a good tenant for 3.5 years. I am not sure.. what to do now. My lease comes up for renewal in Feb. The lease ends either March or April 30th. The woman who use to live upstairs from me.. told me that the landlord one of the two.. told her they would take 1/2 your 1.5 months security deposit .. for a rental fee if you want to leave before the contract is up.. towards them renting it out. Not sure about the remainder of the lease months.. But.. that is what she told me they would do. I find it unusually they would not want the rest of the months rent until the end.. but.. this is what I was told. I don’t want to mess myself up.. But.. I don’t want to just up and leave.. because it can damage me later.. or .. I can be found. I don’t need at 45 those head aches.
I was going to go into to see the landlord.. when he is in the office.. and sit and tell him I would like to leave.. in Sept.
However.. I am not sure.. if he will try to come in that month to rent it or.. wait until I am gone if he takes half of the security. I want to get out of the lease. I am going to tell him the truth my mom has cancer. I hope he understands. But.. I don’t want him to see my mother or her room is occupied prior to leaving. I would think .. as with the woman upstair.. he may take the two carpets out.. and maybe re paint. He may not be able to rent right away. Am I worried for nothing? I don’t think he showed the place with the woman upstairs until after she left. He may have ran an ad though. What is my best course of action? Also.. I need cheap moving help.. I was thinking of putting up a big.. ad on the pin up board at a Community College.. for inexpensive help.. Its a 2.5 hour trip to move.. maybe less. I need them to un assemble the two beds.. load the truck .. unload.. and re assemble to the beds.. bringing in and placing the dressers .. couch..bring the stuff inside. We just can’t afford a lot and I have no idea what is enough for about 4 moving men or boys? Also.. I put a free ad on Craigs List. Thanks

I think I get the just of what you are asking. You wish to BUY a trailer and then RENT a place to park it and live?

Absolutely 100 percent DO IT!
Owning is not the same as renting, Sure you have upkeep and maintenance for the trailer but it is still much cheaper and much better in the long run to own instead of rent. Wait till the last possible minute and just take the deposit loss in stride. It will not affect your credit rating and you will be upgrading from a rent to an own situation. At a later date when you are more settled, you can easily locate a piece of land and move the trailer to it, This way you have the best of all world situations.
