Buying: Select a Realtor with GRI or CRS designation, apply for mortgage, look for home, make a written offer, get acceptance of offer, qualify on mortgage, close and move in.

Selling: Hire a Realtor, one that has a GRI or CRS designation. It means they have been in the business many years and have experience. List the house, keep it clean every day, get out during meal times for showings (haha), accept/negotiate offer, close and move out.
