Question : can all types of mold be removed with bleach?
I have a black mold problem growing on my basement walls. I’ve read about using a bleach solution. WIll the bleach work on any type of mold? And also is it necessary to have the mold tested to see what kind it is? I hear the testing is expensive. Any good advice is welcome.

Bleach will kill any kind of mold. The problem is that the mold that you see is sometimes just the tip of the iceberg. It could be inside the walls as well. Spray it down with your bleach solution & scrub it down thoroughlly, if it returns, you have a more advanced problem, & may want to consult a professional.
As far as getting it tested, in alot of communities you can bring a sample down to your local board of health & they will test it for you at no cost.
