Is this just another case of libs pretending to care for their country when they were waving Old Glory??
John McCain’s campaign prepared to accuse Democrats on Saturday of leaving behind 12,000 miniature American flags after Barack Obama’s nomination acceptance speech last Thursday in Denver.
Boy Scouts have arrived with 84 trash bags full of bundles of flags at the site of a McCain rally scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m. local time in Colorado Springs.
The campaign says the flags were recovered from Invesco Field after the Democrats concluded their convention there, and they are going to be used as part of the warm-up ceremonies before McCain takes the stage for the rally.

Easy answer, Democrats don’t give a hoot about the USA, only interest is power and Socialism. It doesn’t matter whether you are talking about trashing the flag, wearing a flag pin, or placing your hand over your heart during the National Anthem. They only become proud of the USA when they nominate a black man.
The scary part is that there are millions and millions of these people. -

When politicians start waving American flags, or talking about their “Christian faith”, it’s time to make sure you still have your wallet. Most of our politicians have no allegiance to our nation. Their only allegiance is to themselves. How could any patriotic individual conspire to deliver us to the North American Union? Would a real American lie to the American people about why we started an undeclared war?
Most of our politicians laugh at the flag, they laugh at the Constitution, and they laugh at us. They think we are all fools. They tell us what we want to hear, and then they betray us.

The Democrats had the flags for show, because the cameras were on them hoping to manipulate voters to believe that suddenly they love their country. Barack Obama wore the flag pin on his lapel that night, as well, when he had refused before, saying, “I will not wear THAT pin on my chest.”
Who does this guy think he’s fooling? Not me.
I wonder if the American Flags on the ground at the DNC had foot prints on them, too?

maybe they weren’t sure if the flags were a gift or a loan. in hindsight, that probably should have been made clear to them. i guess republicans just assume everything belongs to them. what did repubs do with the little flags? did anyone call dem party or obama campaign to ask if repubs could use them? were flags returned to dems? if not, i want a precise accounting for every flag appropriated. and why have both mccain and bush autographed flags, which is definitely a violation of the flag code. does it symbolize their belief that the USA belongs to them to do with as they may? is it just more of the usual conservative “the rules apply to you, but not to me?”
