Question : How to contact Apple?
I bought my MacBook from UAE, I live in Kuwait. All Macs are supposed to have 1 year GLOBAL Warranty. One day a CD got stuck in my Mac I decided to go to an Apple Authorized Service Provider in Kuwait to try to get it fixed, they said we won’t fix it because you didn’t buy it from Kuwait.
After shouting at the guys about the warranty, they took it in, a few days later they called me and said we couldn’t do anything. I took it back home and found out my MacBook wasn’t switching it on properly and the CD was still jammed. After ages of trying to switch it on I managed to get the CD out my self but still there was a problem switching it on.
So I sent it back to the UAE and they said that there were parts missing from my MacBook! These idiots from the Apple Kuwait destroyed my Mac! Well in UAE they replaced the missing parts in my Mac, it took ages.
There are still problems with my MacBook. I took it to the UK to attempt to get it fixed. They said they cant fix it because UAE is tax free.

This is the worldwide contact. I would suggest that a global warranty is always enforceable against the manufacturer even if they choose to broker the delivery through local agents. It is always annoying that one is told this nonsense that you “have” to go back to the original dealer but I suspect that is just an excuse to get rid of you. As for the nonsense about “tax-free2 it is irrelevant.
Chase the top boys and threaten to make the flaws in their dealer and guarantee system well known in the Arab world id not the whole world. Apple are always pushing on about how customer friendly they are!!

Look on their website. On the US Store there occasionally is a ‘Chat Now!’ button next to the business phone number at the top of the page that lets you talk with a Mac genius. I’m assuming they can give you a complaint number or something. Good luck! (To get to the US Apple page, look at the bottom of the page and select US)
