The Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber presented its first Peoples Choice awards for restaurants participating in the Toll Brothers Taste of Coastal Delaware on Sunday, June 7. Sedona restaurant in downtown Bethany Beach earned the award for Best Dish from voters attending the food sampling event. Jammin Jons Island BBQ on Route 54 west of Fenwick Island won the award for the Best Table Display. A record turnout of 380 people attended the 10th annual Toll Brothers Taste of Coastal Delaware at the Marketplace at Sea Colony on Coastal Highway in Bethany Beach. Title Sponsor of the Taste of Coastal Delaware is Toll Brothers, Americas Luxury Home Builder. Supporting Sponsors include Giant Foods, Delmarva Power, Coastal Point newspaper, Delaware Today magazine, and WMDT-TV47 and CW3. Sedona received nearly one-quarter of all votes for the Best Dish served at the event. Sedona owner Marian Parrott and her staff served Shrimp and Grits, as well as Stuffed Figs and Peanut Chicken Satays with sesame ginger sauce. Jammin[ Jons Island BBQ was a landslide winner for Best Table Display, receiving more than three-quarters of all votes. Jammin Jons owner Jon Yanek and his team decorated their table in a Caribbean theme, and wore Rastafarian hats to add to the island flavor. Participating restaurants also included Armands Pizza, The Blue Crab of Bethany Beach, bluecoast seafood grill & fish market, Catch 54 Fish House, Chalkboard Tavern & Grille, The Cottage Café Restaurant & Pub, Fat Tuna …
