How do I kill mold in a bathroom?
Question : How do I kill mold in a bathroom?
I’m renting an apartment and my bathroom has mold. The renting office made us sign a specific mold clause before hand. It seems as if they knew they had mold and just painted over it because the mold showed up very quickly after we moved in.
How do I get rid of it without paying thousands of dollars to a specialist? It’s on the ceiling so it’s really hard to reach.

Are you looking for a toxic chemical disinfectant that effects your lungs and nervous system to get rid of the mold or are you interested in finding a safe, non-toxic disinfectant to remove the mold?
If you are looking for a safe, non-toxic disinfectant to remove the mold please contact me at Natural2thecore@comcast.net

first you need to get it appraised … some mold spores can be really hazardous for your health….
Second talk to a lawyer or check the (www.consumerist.com) articles … if your landlord knew before renting that you had a mold issue he is liable at least for the cost of repairs. (and if it is hazardous to your health you’ve got an even better case)
If none of the previous works.. bleach might get rid of the surface mold, but to get rid of it use Muriatic acid… is not really hazardous (but make sure you use gloves and a mask) … a shower of acid will rid you of even the worst mold… where I live you can buy it in the hardware store… -

Spray a dilution of bleach and water using a plant mister.
Remember to wear protective clothing and goggles, particularly when spraying up to the ceiling.
Bleach will kill mold. I used 100% bleach on a nasty type I had in the basement after a flood. Its hasn’t returned.
Don’t pay thousands of $ $ $ . Bleach is very affordable.
Good Luck.

bleach, then let sit for a couple of minutes then buy a broom from the 99 cents store and brush the walls.
