If you are looking to see the contrast between bad design and good design, this is not the book to buy. The photographs are in black and white and do not show how to redesign or stage a room. The critiques are adequate, but the reader cannot discern what the author is describing. Most often the author criticizes the “after” pictures for the errors the designer made. My question: why show what not to do? Why not show what really works. Color is so important in good design. This is not addressed at all with the black and white photos. I purchased this book from her website at premium price. It is a paperback and a total waste of money.
