Question : Which tagline/slogan is better and why?
I’m marketing software that home inspectors use to create inspection reports. The name of the software is EZ Home Inspection Software. Which slogan is best and why?

(1) Affordable, Flexible. Powerful. Make it EZ.
(2) Professional reports—Made EZ.
(3) Save Money. Save Time. Make it EZ.
(4) Report Writing—Made EZ.
(5) We make report writing EZ.

What About “Save Money. Save Time. Proffesional Reports Made EZ.”

3 is the most succinct, IMHO.

Why? Because, in today’s society, the average person and businessman is looking for any possible way to save time, but not wanting to spend anything he/she doesn’t have to. This slogan appeals to their wants and would seem to make everything, EZ’er than their alternative: spending and wasting energy, money and time.

I guess I’d choose 3, but it seems that it would be largely dependent on what the target market is looking for – professional appearance, ease of use, money saving? #3 emphasizes time and money, which many times are a businesses main focus.

I like number 2. It says what it is, professional, and that’s a good adjective when describing something you want to sell to professional people. Number 3 seems more like it would be a great tagline for a product marketed to your everyday joe.

I like 2, other than that I think that 1 and 3 are too generic .. as if I’ve heard them before. I also think that 4 and 5 seem like they are reports for school and not for the inspection reports that you specifically work on.
