Deep Creek Lake? Wakeboarding?
Question : Deep Creek Lake? Wakeboarding?
Has anyone been to Deep Creek Lake? If so would you happen to have tried wakeboarding there. Cause I was checking out the site and I saw they had wakeboard rentals and I was wondering if it was fun at that lake. And if not do you have any other suggestions for lakes in Maryland where I can wakeboard?
ps ive never tried wakeboarding before so also if you could tell me also do they have instructers that show you? and like yea… i hope my question made sense just basially tell me anything you can remotly related to what im saying.

I haven’t been there, but as long as you have the website, contact them to see if they give lessons. My guess is that they do, but it may cost more. They don’t want you out there not knowing what you’re doing. It’s dangerous and they’d prefer that you say good things about them later.
I go to Deep Creek Lake in the summer and winter. I wakeboard, and if you have never tried before, I recommend kneeboarding first, to get a feel for being on the board. This is what I did, and it made a big difference. They offer hourly wakeboarding lessons, all you have to do is call the boat gas station or visit them and they will tell you where you can attend a lesson, or give you a number to call. Another thing I did was I tried snowboarding. I took a lesson and went down the slope a few times, and that gave me a feel for how to balance. I hope this helps, and good luck!
