Question : Has anyone ever purchased a Disney Vacation Club – as a resale?
looking into DVC ownership, but was made aware of resales in this area… does all aspects of the resale transfer? ie. the yearly dues, benefits, etc.?

Resales are a great way to go if you want to buy into the DVC! You will save a ton of money and, yes, a resale purchase is exactly the same as purchasing from Disney directly in terms of benefits, yearly dues, etc. There is no difference.

One thing you should know — Disney has the first right of refusal on all resales. This means that when you make an offer on a resale, it is reviewed by Disney and they have the right to purchase it first. They do this to keep the values of the DVC where they want them. They rarely exercise this right except when a DVC share is being sold for an extremely low price. Disney will buy it in this situation and resell it themselves at a higher price to keep the values up. Your resale agent will take care of all of this for you.
