I am moving across the country with a moving service. Will the boxes I pack be subjected to search/dog sniffing en route?

No. But they will be subjected to people with “noses in u business” and sticky fingers. Sticky having more than one meaning here.
No I have moved many times and they have never been searched. but make sure your money is in a safe place. If it is wide open they will steal it! Trust me you want to keep it near you. I have had money stolen when moving…its not the best
