A fake car warranty keeps calling my home, how can i block the number?
Question : A fake car warranty keeps calling my home, how can i block the number?
For the past 3-5 months this fake company has been calling my home phone and its very annoying. The number is 918-720-0256 and it comes out of Oklahoma. Does anyone know how I can block the number from calling me back?
PS. The thing is that the company calls from different numbers but they only have called from five of those different numbers.
I have already told them to add my phone to the no call list and the person tells me to hold on a minute and that she will do it manually, but then they hang up. Another thing, they call from different numbers every time so there is no way of telling any authorities especially since when you call them back the operator says the phone is invalid, so I’m going to start annoying them back every time they call and if that doesn’t work, then I’ll call my home phone company, Thanks for everyone’s advice.

Next time they call. request that they take you off the calling list.

I had the same thing happen, I registered, and they called back 1 time, I contacted the NDNC registry and the co. got into a heap of trouble. It’s the law that once you register, they not solicit your #’s…

Good thing you said your home phone! Just call your phone service company and let them know about the problem. I had a problem with an ex-boyfriend a few years ago and Cox my phone service has this thing where they could block 3 telephone numbers to call your house. However, it did cost money but like only 3-5 bucks a month. After 2 months just get rid of it and by then they will have your number off their calling list. Sorry to hear about your annoying phone calls. Sadly cell phone companies, atleast t-mobile doesnt offer this service.
GOOD LUCK!

OMG!! They keep calling me, they give you 2 options. 1 to talk to someone and 2 to have your number taken off their list. If you push 2 they still call back and if you hit 1 and ask them about it or to stop calling, they just hang up. I have tried everything and I can’t get them to stop calling and I think they know when to call. Because it is always right whenI am getting ready to leave the house for work.

Contact your Better Business Bureau and give them all the info you have. If they keep calling have fun with them. I’m sure you’ve heard of all the silly comments you can make to people like that. My husband did that with a persistent caller and kept asking them all kinds of questions until they finally hung up. They never called back.

You want “call screening” to decline calls.
lift the receiver and dial *60 —then follow menu to add and delte phone #’s that you have on this list…
to cancel it lift the receiver and dial *80 then when prompted hit 3 to turn off the feature…
You have to have this service available from your phone co. to be able to activate it.
also, report this # thats calling everyday on donotcall.gov…..
I mean report it everyday until it stops. If you only do it once, nothing ever happens.
