Question : Does anyone know of any cheap moving truck rentals?
I am moving from NY to NC. The prices i have found are up over $ 1000. Is there any alternative or cheap truck rentals. We have about 3 bedrooms to move. No towing of vehicles is neccessary. Please let me know if you can help

We have always used U-Haul. They seem to be the least expensive. It depends on how long you are going to have them though. I know their pick-ups usually start at $ 19.95. I’m not sure about the bigger ones.
go online and search budget, u-haul, and penske. The prices fluxuate depending on where they need one way trucks sent. If penske needs a few more trucks in NC they will give a better deal then another firm that may need less trucks in NC. I searched all 3 for a florida to NY move and ended up going with penske. Internet search is your best bet. Some won’t charge a per mile fee but some will so be sure to factor that in the cost. Also remember, like if you buy a car, you never pay sticker price. Negotiate with the rental agent for an even better price.
