Which home warranty should I get?

Home warranties are a rip off, honestly. We bought our house in Jan. 2009 and had AHS American Home Shield and they were a joke. We had an awful smell in our house after the first 2 months of living in it. I called AHS and they sent out a plumber who charged 60 dollars, he couldn’t find anything, this went on 3 more times and each time I was told something different, the last time I was told it would cost 3300 to replace my pipes and when I asked AHS about what they covered they said oh we don’t cover that brand of piping. So anyway my neighbor came over and knew exactly what it was, I had a dried up pee trap, one glass of water poured down the drain and the smell was gone forever. It cost me 240 for them to tell me nothing, plus the 90 I paid fo 2 months. I canceled them and now just put 100 dollars a month in an account I have set up just for repairs
