I would try the vacation rentals section of honolulu.craigslist.org, or do a search on vrbo.com (vacation rentals by owners).

Those would be the best two places to find short term vacation rentals on any of the Hawaiian islands.

Are you looking to rent one or buy a vacation home. Check out the classifieds in the papers or go on craigslist and find what your interested. If interested in purchasing a timeshare go with a hotel chain like Hilton, Hyatt, Mariott, etc. Timeshare secret: Buy one in a cheaper location to save money on maintenance fees not Hawaii. For $ 50 more book your trip to Hawaii.

check out craigslist.com…. they list places that people want to rent for a week… each state has a craigslist so click on hawaii… and than vacation rentals… I live in MT and there was 1 listed a while ago for Hawaii.. good luck
